Magnetic Drum - High-Performance Mineral Separator This mineral separator helps improve recovery of magnetic minerals while keeping the production flow stable.
Feed size: 0–5 mm Handling Capacity: 200–300 t/h Suitable materials: magnetite, ilmenite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, coal, and different metallic and non-metallic ores
Sanland SCTB Wet Permanent Magnetic Separator is a wet type magnetic drum separator that is used to separate magnetic minerals. It is mainly used in iron ore beneficiation, mineral purification, and resource recovery projects.
To fulfill the demand of mining industry for stable magnetic separation the Wet Drum Magnetic Separator improves machine’s performance in tough slurry conditions by modifying magnetic system structure and introducing wear-resistant construction.
The machine during operation: The magnetic substances are first attracted to the rotating surface of the magnetic drum due to magnetic force. Then they are carried to the point of desorption in the non-magnetic area by the rotating action and discharged. Non-magnetic substances go out with the tailing so that an efficient separation continues to take place.
Magnetic field consistency and machine structure design reduce mineral loss in tails and lead to better recovery of magnetic minerals.

Magnetic Separator uses a high-efficiency magnetic system that keeps the magnetic field stable. This not only prevents separation errors which are caused by sudden changes in magnetic field but also makes the machine suitable for continuous long-term operation.
With a capacity as large as 200–300 t/h, the Machine is suitable for working independently or being connected to the crushing, grinding, and classifying circuits together to make the whole circuit.
This design minimizes wear of the drum even if the drum is exposed to slurry for a long time, which will not only lower the frequency of replacement of drum but also reduce the maintenance.
In dry magnetic separation process, a portion of water can be reused thereby reducing the need of fresh water and is ideal for water-scare mines.
Magnetic Separator and its related models are the reliable choice for stable magnetic fields and wear-resistant components. This is why magnetic separation is done so successfully with these machines that are the core elements of the system.
Through production runs the machines are actually the great helpers of their owners by providing benefits like:
Minimize losses of magnetic minerals and boost resource exploitation.
Keep the concentrate qualities at a consistent level.
Reduce the amount of times you’ll have to get maintenance done on the machines.
Help reduce production losses caused by equipment failure or breakdowns.
Each mine’s requirements, including mineralogy of magnetism, particle size distribution, as well as production target are distinct from one another. As such, to help the customers realize their magnetic separation objectives, Sanland can customize a solution using the mineral’s magnetic parameters, required throughput, and concentrate grade as well as existing plant circuit configuration. From these inputs, Sanland proposes magnetic system strength settings, drum size selection, tank structure optimization, and overall process alignment plans.
In this way, we are able to assist our customers to make the right magnetic separator decision, one that truly reflects their production needs.
To keep the machine running reliably for a long time:
Regularly check drum wear during operation.
Keep the feed even and prevent large foreign objects from entering.
Inspect bearings, drive system and magnetic system fixing structure on schedule.
Replace wear parts promptly according to wear condition.
Following these simple practices reduces unexpected downtime and extends the service life of the equipment.

Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Shenyang, China, Sanland is a specialist manufacturer of crushing, screening, mineral processing and bulk material handling equipment.
With production bases in Shenyang and Kaiyuan covering 95,000 m² and a workforce of more than 350, we carry out the complete manufacturing process ourselves — casting, machining, welding, assembly and testing — so quality is controlled at every step.
Over 30 years in the industry have seen us deliver more than 110 crushing lines worldwide, with throughputs from 100 t/h up to 3,000 t/h. In addition to standard equipment we offer fully customised solutions, plant upgrades, process design, installation, commissioning and ongoing technical support.
Our machines operate in mining, quarrying and aggregate projects in over 60 countries, including Chile, Peru, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Southeast Asia. Clients include major names such as BHP, Vale, CODELCO, Anglo American, ANSTEEL, Philex Mining, China Gold and Huaxin Cement.

Sanland provides complete technical support for international customers. Before the sale we analyze ore properties and production needs to recommend equipment and process suggestions. After delivery we offer installation guidance, commissioning support, operator training and remote technical assistance.
With a service center and spare-parts warehouse in Canada, overseas customers receive faster technical support and parts supply.
Sanland supplies export-standard packaging, coordinates international transport, tracks shipment progress and can supply spare parts at the same time. According to project needs, we can deliver single machines or complete mineral processing equipment packages.
Sanland designed the permanent magnetic drum according to the local ore properties of the customer and modified the magnetic system and tank structure according to the working conditions.
After commissioning of the machine, the following results have been achieved:
Recovery of concentrate is higher than before, approximately about 5.9%.
The process is quite a bit more level-headed these days, and the production is really stable.
With the assistance of continuous production system demands have been met successfully.
