Feed size: 0–25 mm Handling capacity: 5–200 t/h (depending on model and process conditions) Suitable materials: gold ore, iron ore, copper ore, quartz, glass raw materials, cement and other metal and non-metal minerals
The MQY ball mill is a fine grinding machine widely used in mining mineral processing flows. Steel balls act as the grinding media. As the drum rotates, impact and grinding action further reduce the ore size. Qualified product leaves the machine through natural slurry overflow.
This equipment is commonly used in metal ore processing, non-metal mineral processing and the building materials industry. It is one of the standard grinding machines in large continuous production systems.
After crushing, the ore needs further grinding. Traditional grinding systems often face these issues:
Large fluctuations in grinding fineness that affect the next flotation or magnetic separation stages.
Higher energy use over long running periods.
Fast wear of consumable parts that interrupts production.
Unstable grinding efficiency when ore conditions change.
Choosing the right equipment and process plan is key to keeping mineral processing results steady.
Liners need regular inspection since liner wear is the key reason why grinding efficiency deteriorates.
Maintain lubrication system in good condition with special regard to the operation of the oil mist system.
Be sure to monitor temperature of bearings as well as the condition and alignment of the gear mesh.
Make sure the feeding is done at a fixed pace and also, avoid feeding beyond the capacity of the equipment for long periods!
Proper periodic maintenance can help you minimize unexpected shutdowns and prolong the equipment’s lifespan.

The overflow type ball mill uses both impact and grinding from the steel balls to make ore particles finer. This helps improve the liberation of valuable minerals from the gangue.
An optimized drive structure and low-resistance support design reduce energy loss during operation and improve electricity use efficiency.
Different liner materials and structures can be chosen according to ore hardness, abrasiveness and production requirements, which increases the machine’s adaptability.
The large and small gears use oil-mist lubrication. The oil covers the tooth surfaces evenly, reducing wear and improving the reliability of the drive system.

Sanland provides one-stop solution of process planning and machinery delivery from site analysis and testing to grinding flow design, equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and operator training. All the operations can be arranged as one single order.
Ball mill machine for mining runs very well. The running mechanism of continuous overflow is very useful to keep the right consistency in the slurry and allow the clients to form stable, reliable, and profitable grinding production.
The Grinding mill can be fitted with an automatic control system on request:
Real-time monitoring of machine running status and motor load.
Control of the lubrication system working condition.
Automatic fault and abnormal alarms.
This makes it easier for operators to understand the working conditions and improve production. management efficiency.
Since its founding in 1988 in Shenyang, China, Sanland has focused on manufacturing crushing, screening, mineral processing and material handling systems.
We run facilities in Shenyang and Kaiyuan that total 95,000 m² and employ over 350 staff. Every stage of production — casting, machining, welding, assembly and testing — takes place under our own roof, giving us tight quality control from raw material to finished product.
Drawing on more than three decades of experience, we have completed over 110 crushing production lines around the world with capacities ranging from 100 to 3,000 tonnes per hour. Customers also turn to us for custom-built machines, plant modernisation, process engineering, installation, commissioning and continuous technical support.
Sanland equipment is at work in mining, quarrying and aggregate projects across 60-plus countries and regions such as Chile, Peru, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Southeast Asia. We have supplied machines to leading companies including BHP, Vale, CODELCO, Anglo American, ANSTEEL, Philex Mining, China Gold and Huaxin Cement.
An overseas service centre in Ontario, Canada — staffed by local engineers and backed by a 3,000 m² parts warehouse — ensures we can offer installation support, rapid troubleshooting, spare parts and after-sales care wherever our customers are.
Holding ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AAA Enterprise Credit Certification and several invention patents, Sanland continues to provide reliable equipment solutions for the global mining and aggregate sectors.

Beyond doubt, the customer’s current plant was at the processing limit which led them to an expansion. After site testing and studying both mineral attributes and the layout of the factory, our technicians proposed the MQY2745 Ball mills to the customer for their grinding equipment as it can meet the customer requirements.
The machine was running very well once installed and debugged. The mill had produced grinding results in accordance to the specification of design, which meant the successful implementation of the expansion of the company as per the customer’s wishes.
