Have‍‌‍‍‌ You Ever Seen These Problems?

The hard rock crushing plants that handle different materials such as crushed granite, basalt, quartzite, and other highly hard ores, usually have a number of operational difficulties in common. Here are some of them.

Problems in overload protection systems which are slow in reaction cause unexpected equipment damages.

Hydraulic cone crushers may develop problems with oil leakage and require regular check-ups which in turn lead to long down times in between.

A consistent change in the shape and size of the products may also result in a decrease in quality while requiring much more work for circulating load.

High-cost spare parts; delivery at the last minute and very slow repair process all of these factors interrupt the production line at the same time.

These factors raise the operational cost of crushing a lot and also slow down the overall productivity of the crushing plant.

If a quarry owner or a mine operator wants to keep things going and limit his production cost over time, he can benefit most by adopting a proven and solid crushing line.

Symons Cone Crusher

Your Way Out: PYT Series Spring Cone Crusher.

The PYT Series Spring Cone Crushing equipment was developed using a time-tested and robust mechanism of spring-based overload protection system. This type of system is also very commonly found in mining and stone production facilities around the world.

When non-crushable object gets into the crusher chamber the spring is compressed automatically allowing the support sleeve to rise and create the new discharge space in the crusher chamber. Once the object is passed, the spring goes back to its original position and the crusher becomes active again.

Compared with the hydraulic ones, this design is simpler and less prone to the issues of oil leakage, difficult fluid servicing, and high service demands.

The Spring-Type Cone crusher is particularly recommended for the crushing of hard and semi-hard materials at a medium or fine particle size level such as granite, basalt, quartzite, iron ore, and various other minerals.

The dependable mechanical nature of the machine makes it an excellent choice for limestone production lines that require regular and uninterrupted performance while being able to perform maintenance operations in an easy way.

Why should we consider Our Stone Cone Crusher?

The Stone Cone Crusher is mainly built keeping reliability, high productivity and a simple-to-operate structure in mind.

1. High utilization rate

Cutting, discharges, and feeding operations are all going smoothly and in coordination. The crusher is able to carry out such tasks without being stopped or interrupted and thus, it brings the efficiency of production process up to the highest level. That is why this kind of machine has been widely accepted and adopted all over the world.

2. Strong Crushing Capability.

The Crusher works by combining two different mechanisms (compressive and shear) that break the rocks. It not only reduces the resistance of the crushing but also improves energy utilization, thereby, getting better crush results.

3. Great Shape of the Final Product.

The optimized crushing chamber is the main reason behind the promotion of layered crushing.

As a result, the products mainly consist of cubicle particles with very attractive quality and a narrow size distribution.

Liner wear will also be more uniformly distributed which contributes in the prolong of the service lifespan and reducing the number of replacements.

4. Simplified Structure with Facilitated Maintenance.

Major components like drives, crushing chamber, and the adjustment mechanism, and lubrication system are very well laid out and visible.

The equipment is not only very simple and user-friendly for a machine operator but also makes it easy and fast to check and maintain, thus minimizing the time and effort needed to perform maintenance work.

Real‍‌‍‍‌ Application Case – Basalt Aggregate Production Line

Background

In Indonesia, a basalt crushing plant required upgrading the secondary crushing stage. The plant’s target capacity was about 200 tons/hour.

Due to high basalt hardness and varying moisture, the customer was repeatedly confronted with equipment blockages and unexplained shut downs of the original facility.

The customer opted for Sanland’s Symons Cone Crusher and the customer worked on making adjustments based on the existing site conditions in parallel to this major upgrade move.

Solutions Offered:

The plant could carry on its work smoothly even against the challenge of uneven feeds.

Besides meeting the specifications of the end customer, the rate of qualification of final product was kept around 92%, and the lifetime of liner was doubled with respect to the older equipments’ performance.

Feedback of customer

Risk of unplanned downtime was drastically curbed.

Operating condition became far more stable day after day.

Over the whole spectrum of expenses, the operating cost was lowered as much as 8%.

This case of success is an evidence that the Cone Crusher is suitable for a quarry when there is the challenge of breaking hard and grinding materials.

FAQ:

1. How is the discharge opening adjusted?

The discharge opening is adjusted by rotating the adjustment sleeve and changing the gap between the moving cone and the fixed cone.

This allows operators to control the final product size according to different production requirements.

2. How often should the springs be replaced?

The crusher uses multiple springs working together to provide overload protection.

Under normal operating and maintenance conditions, the spring components can usually operate for many years. In many cases, their service life can approach 10 years, depending on operating conditions and maintenance practices.
