Primary‍‌‍‍‌ Feeding Machine – Front-End Pre-Screening for Crushing Lines

Steady feeding that reduces the impact of soil and fines on the crushing system.

Feed size: 0–750 mm

Handling capacity: 60–560 t/h

Suitable materials: granite, basalt, quartzite, iron ore, diabase, river pebbles and various metal and non-metal ores.

The feeding equipment is a continuous feeding machine that is located at the front end of the mining crushing lines. It uses the motion from the vibrations to evenly disperse the heavy pieces of the material to the crusher. The space between the bars allows the finer material to pass through the gaps and this pre-screens it. Before getting crushed even soil, sand and dust get separated out so there are fewer impurities entering into the crushing chamber.

Common Front-end Problems withCrushing Lines

Ore and other raw materials are usually delivered or dumped by trucks/loaders into a receptacle which might include soil, and in many cases, even powder. When this heterogeneous material goes directly into the crusher:

The fine material gets stuck inside the crushing chamber and the jaw lining. The effective work space is significantly lost.

Increased load and wear.

Aggregate is loaded with clay. Therefore, the product quality is decreased.

In this situation the feeding of the crushing lines at the front is a big issue as the feeding of the raw material with the help of dumping or manual feeding causes all sorts of problems such as getting stuck of the material inside the crusher chamber. Also, if a material of soil, sand, and other dust particles is not taken for the crusher before these impurities enter the chamber the problems will just be amplified.

Benefits

The vibrating feeder used for the jaw crusher provides material to the crusher in a continuous and constant manner. It is this feeder unit that stops all the material coming together from manual unloading or from dumping with the help of vehicles so that there is hardly any disturbance or interruption.

The bar-like structure allows the fines and soil to go down through the gaps even as the bigger pieces make their way into the crusher chamber. This also helps to get rid of the problems of material sticking in the chamber of the crusher during the crushing operation.

This type of feeder, by virtue of its double-shaft eccentric system, is able to generate a uniform straight line vibration that will cause it to move and thus, convey the material in front direction continuously.

The main areas of impact are made of such wear-resisting materials that can endure rock impact for years and therefore the machinery has no problems in a high-load environment and long-lasting production.

The Front-end Crushing Lines Solution offered by Sanland

ZSW feeder is a vibration conveyor and pre-screener in one. It performs well even if the clay content in the stone varies.

Soil and fine sand that are picked up during the loading of the material get separated first. In addition, large pieces go forward to the crusher while the crushed fine material that is not useful for further crushing gets removed early.

Operation Details

The Feeder produced by China incorporates the double eccentric shaft type vibration system

In this design, the motor rotates the eccentric shafts in opposite directions at the same speed so that a straight-line vibration is produced which causes the trough to move while the material is being conveyed

Bars spaced such that there is a clearance between the bars enable the fines to first be pre-screened and then pass through.

Operation, Maintenance and Bar Configuration

Regularly check the lubrication condition of the vibrator.

Inspect bar wear and clear any material stuck in the gaps.

Make sure all connection bolts stay tight.

Plan wear-part replacement according to material abrasiveness.

The bars are made of wear-resistant material that can handle strong rock impact. The standard version has fixed gaps. If different screening results are needed, modular bars with different gap sizes can be chosen to match various site conditions.

FAQ

Q: Can the bar gaps of the vibrating feeder be adjusted? A: The standard Primary feeding machine uses fixed bars. If different screening results are needed, modular bar sets can be fitted so the gap size can be changed according to site requirements.

Q: Is the feeder suitable for ore with high clay content? A: Yes. The bar structure can remove part of the fine material and soil early, reducing the amount of fines that enter the crusher. It adapts well to material with higher clay content.

Q: Can the China feeder manufacturer control the feeding speed? A: Yes. A variable-frequency drive system can be added according to automation needs so the feed rate can be adjusted.

Q: Does Sanland provide complete crushing line solutions? A: Yes. Sanland can supply complete solutions including crushing, screening and conveying equipment based on the customer’s raw material properties, capacity requirements and product specifications.

The Primary feeding machine, Feeding equipment, Feeder for jaw crusher, Feeder made in China and China feeder manufacturer range gives plants a practical way to feed crushers steadily, remove soil and fines early, and keep the whole crushing line running more smoothly.
